Project Melody's mission
"...is to set to music the verses and the divine words so that they may
be sung with soul-stirring melody in the Assemblies and gatherings, and
that the hearts of the listeners may become tumultuous and rise towards
the Kingdom of Abha in supplication and prayer."
The Long Healing Prayer web site
is brought to you by Project Melody.

Allen Tyrone Johnson founded
Project Melody in 1993 two years after embracing the Bahá'í Faith. He
feels that by setting sacred writings and prayers to music, it will
better enable him to take spiritual principles to the masses. Since then he has set to music over
seventy prayers. This has been his service from the beginning of his
journey as a Bahai. He has served as a travel teacher for 18 months,
traveling to over 300 cities nationwide (USA) facilitating what he calls
the Long Healing Prayer musical devotional. He has done the devotions
in not just Bahá'í communities, but in nursing homes, churches, and
libraries. He currently is an isolated believer in a rural part of the
northeastern states and continues to set the writings to music as well
as writing wholesome commercial music. |

After experiencing the Long Healing
Prayer at a live devotional Connie Young knew she had to be a part of
sharing this experience with as many people she could. Connie began
buying the CD for all of her close friends and family members. She then
began supporting the project financially and donating her time. She has
scheduled live devotionals and other music performances for Allen, as
well as spending time manufacturing the Audio Gift Cards and marketing
them. I believe that the CD sells itself. The effect that Ive seen it
have on people from all walks of life never ceases to amaze me. Im so
happy to be a part of this project." |
